May is Teacher and Staff Appreciation Month at the Missituk Elementary School. You can get involved by donating your time, baked goods, or even via venmo using this volunteer and donation sign up sheet. See the schedule of events below.
Week 1: May 6 - 10
Chalking and Staff Breakfast
Sunday, May 5, 10 to noon: chalk drawing and playground meet up at the Missituk playground
Thursday, May 9, before school: Staff Breakfast hosted by the PTO. Use this sign up sheet for donations or volunteering.
Week 2: May 13 - 17
Staff Luncheon
Thursday, May 9: Help the PTO host the staff and teacher appreciation luncheon. See the volunteer sign up sheet for what we need!
Week 3: May 20 - 24
Dessert Bar
Monday, May 20: Help the PTO host a dessert and ice coffee bar for our teachers and staff. Use the volunteer sign up sheet to see what we need.
Friday, May 24: Design your own flowers for your teacher due from students in the manilla folder outside their classrooms (optional!)
Week 4: May 27 - June 1
Celebrate your teacher!
Friday, May 31: Wear your teacher's favorite color to school day!
