Scholastic Book Fair
October 20th through 24th
at the Missituk Elementary School Library
In School Visits
Our Scholastic Book Fair at the Missituk School is coming up next week! It will run from Monday, October 20th, through Friday, October 24th. Kids will visit the book fair twice during the school day with their class. On their first visit, students will browse and create wish lists, which they will bring home for you to see. Then, they will return a second time when they can make purchases.
How to Purchase
Purchases can be made with cash, checks (made out to Missituk School PTO), or digital payment through eWallet. Please send cash and checks in a sealed envelope with the student's name on it. Unused eWallet funds will stay in your Scholastic account to be spent later.
Family Night
October 23rd from 5 -7 PM
We will have our Book Fair Family Night on Thursday, October 17th, from 5:00-7:00 PM to coincide with Missituk Story Time Night. Families are invited to come up to the Missituk Library to browse and shop for books for all ages preschool through adult, and you can also check out wish lists that the teachers and our librarian, Mr. Robbins, have created. Meanwhile, students are invited to hear Missituk educators and community members read picture books during story time!

Scholastic also has a program called Share the Fair, which is a collection which can be used to help if a student is short on their purchase or to help purchase more books from the teacher or staff wishlists. There are several ways to contribute. We will have a collection box for cash or check donations. If you create an eWallet, you will have the option to donate. When anyone makes a purchase, they will be asked if they want to round up to the next dollar. If you'd like to make a contribution, please indicate you want to round up or donate towards Share the Fair on the student wish lists, a note, or an email to Cristina at cmcgorfty927@gmail.com.
We need volunteers!!
