Everyone loves Legos! We'll be assembling builds and bricks in the library with plenty of ideas and assistance.

Let's make art and items with fabric and thread together.  We will explore different techniques of hand sewing and embroidery.  You will learn how to thread a needle, tie a knot,  pin a pattern and sew a running stitch plus other fabric art techniques.  It will be fun to create. new and interesting things from fabric.

I love stories and I love reading them to kids! Each week I'll have a theme or author that we highlight. We'll read books aloud and talk about them.

Mudflat is coming to the Missituk! Kids learn the basics of handbuilding with clay to create fun projects that  might include pinch pots, sculptures, coil bowls and hump molds. Kids will decorate their pieces with colorful underglazes + slips in class and the projects will be transported back to mudflat for firing and a coat of clear glaze.

Join Dungeon Master Danger Wizard for an exciting D&D campaign. He will start with an intro and character creating and follow with 3 chapters to come to a satisfying conclusion! Students will  write articles - independently or in groups - for a school newspaper and/or news website. 

A fun and funky combination class of Jazz and Hip Hop dance styles! Movers will have fun exploring these two energetic styles of dance.

Let’s get creative with electricity! In this junior hands-on electronics class, students will gain experience with creating their own electronics; designing custom light-up greeting cards, electric games, mazes, and even musical instruments. Each class day consists of a circuitry lesson and a hands-on electronics project, using components like lights, buzzers, switches, motors, and sensors. Circuit Lab staff will make sure participants create a project that they can be proud of each day. Most class days include a take-home project.

Come hang out on the fourth floor and curl up with a good book! We will find different ways to enjoy our books as well as design our own bookmarks. If you are looking for the right place to hang out with other bookworms, this is the right club for you!

Come create a world of your imagination with us! In this club, you will get to design and build your own city. We will have a variety of cardboard materials for you to explore and experiment with as you make your creations. This club will be a place where you can stretch your creativity muscles!
